The Office Manager has the responsibility to represent the company in a specific region by assisting the Divisional Director through providing policy advice, co-ordinating policy advice inputs and overseeing the management of the office including long-term planning, day-to-day operations, and adherence to corporate standards and compliance obligations as part of the Business Management System Procedures

This is a secondary function in addition to the employee’s primary responsibilities in the technical environment as an Engineer or Project Management professional. Building and managing project teams, building relationships with clients, business development initiatives and ensuring quality control throughout project life cycles are central to this position


Min Experience

1) 10 - 15 years relevant experience in Consulting Engineering, of which 5 to 7 years were in a Senior Managerial role
2) Private and public sector Stakeholder Management
3) Strong track record of achieving results in a high-pressure environment
4) Ability to grasp a range of complex issues, to prioritise, plan and exercise initiative
5) Proven work experience in a similar role

Knowledge and Abilities

1) Working knowledge of various forms of contracts, viz. JBCC, NEC, FIDIC, etc.
2) Ability to operate with minimal technical and management supervision
3) Statutory and industry standards in project management
4) Business management
5) Implementing strategic decisions

7) Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
